Vascular bundles in a dicot. stem

The vascular bundles in a dicotyledon stem are arranged in a ring . The phloem is toward the outside and the Xylem toward the inside. They are separated by dividing cells called cambium.

In this section the outermost tissue of the bundles is sclerenchyma, a stengthening tissue.
